There are situations in which you may need to calculate the number of days between two dates or convert a date to a different format. Windows doesn't include any features for this purpose and, given this fact, you will need to install a specialized application. You could use DateCalc, a Windows program which, as its name states, can calculate various type of dates and allows you to perform several types of calculations using dates.

The program doesn't need installing and can run directly from its EXE file. When running the software, you may consider that the interface is a bit crowded, as there are a lot of available options. In reality, all these options are in the right place and they are also intuitive to use. In the upper part of the interface, the user will be able to view information about the current year, century, first and last day of the year, first Monday of the year and so on. There is also a graphical calendar displayed, which allows you to easily view the current date.

The main part of the interface includes several tabs which allow you to perform various calculations using date. For example, you can view the remaining days for the current year or you can calculate the number of days or weeks included between any two dates. DateCalc can even do more than that, as it can display the remaining hours, minutes and seconds between two different dates.

Pros

It has all the options in the right place. Besides that, it can perform a lot of calculations using the time and date. Moreover, it doesn't need installing.

Cons

The interface may seem a bit crowded at first. Using DateCalc you can easily perform various calculations using date and time.
